This Week: Ayumi Hamasaki - H, Morning
Musume - Do it! Now, Glay - Mata kokode aimashou
Announcement: We have 3 singles this
week and we're gonna make a game show of it! Yea! I get 100 words no more
no less and I get to review each single in a 100 words each :) Someone
count the words for me plz cause this will be hectic!
Ayumi
is back and here to shut me up once again. The single is called “H”
which reminds us a lot of her legendary “A” single… errr maybe not
since “A” had mucho remixes! This single only has 3 songs on it
without ANY remixes but I guess she wants to go with quality not quantity.
“Independent” is the featured song of the “The
Baseball 2002 - Battleballpark Sengen”, “July 1st” is
used for the “Kose-Vise” commercial, while Hanabi is the telecom theme
song! Recently her singles have been getting cheaper and cheaper but
obviously these are 3 quality songs and believe it or not she holds number
1 on Oricon as we speak. (errr so
I passed 100 words by a lil ok :P)
Track List

It’s
Glay!!!!! The first of 2 singles with the 2nd one releasing a
week later. This single probably has the BEST intro into a song that I
have ever heard in my life. The piano intro is so beautiful and upbeat
that we would love to just get that as a song by itself! But the song
picks up and it’s all Glay rock from there! *Glay fans cheer* A truly
lovely rock song by our standards! Did we also mention that this song is
the current theme for “JAL NEW CHINA” TV commercial. Anyways buy it
now! (Yes! Just made 100)
Track List
1. Mata kokode aimashou
2. Giant Strong Faust Superstar

We’re
about to go into the last month of summer now and Momo FINALLY drops a
track for us! Thank goodness!!!! We were almost about to forget what is
upbeat and happy! Well this song is far from their usual music. It has a
much more mature beat and tune to it. Their last single showed us how
crazy they are but this one is defiantly showing us their mature side…
is that even possible? Nonetheless this single rocks! It’s a lot more
R&Bish rather pop and it is just as catchy as the rest of their
singles! You can’t hate Momo for this song now! :P (Darn over 100 again
:( ahhh who cares 1 out of 3… not bad :P)
Track List
1. Do it! Now
2. Chotto Ikashita Pure Boy
3. Do it! Now (Instrumental)
