Hella Hot or Hella Not?
If you haven't figured it yet each week new singles in Japan are released. Since we're always on top of our game and we always want to deliver the hot news and let you know which song is hot and which is not we now have a featured song review section. Every week we will pick a song by an artist before it's released and we will review it for you.

Past Archives

8/14: Garnet Crow - Spiral
Next Week: Janna Da Arc - Shining Ray
This Week: Do As Infinity - Under the Sun/ Under the Moon

One of our most favorite J-Pop bands drops another release above our heads and it's a dual release! According to our information "Under the Sun" has been released before for quite some time but this is the first time as a single. "Under the Moon" is totally new but you know what? Both songs kick ass!

"Under the Sun" is an upbeat rock song. Hence the title... It starts off with a mysterious rock beat to it and then in comes the soothing voice of Tomiko Van who we all love! The song is as catchy as boukenshatachi so if you liked that song then you're gonna LOVE "Under the Sun"! The 2nd song is "Under the Moon" and from the title it's a slower song. It sounds like... errr... we want to say "Fukai Mori" but not really. It's a unique song like all DAI songs. It's mysterious yet the chorus is VERY catchy! We love the guitar music in this song and we actually are starting to like "Under the Moon" over "Under the Sun". Well both are actually quite good... it's really up to you to decide ^_^

Do we even have to ask HELLA HOT or HELLA NOT? Nope!!! It's HELLA HOT! Smoking HOT! DAI not only provides another good single but with the 2 releases it covers what DAI is good at. They can sing upbeat songs with the best of them while they also can sing beautiful ballads. This single truly shows how talented they are and if you don't know who is DAI yet then I REALLY recommend this single! You won't regret! Get it now :)
