Hella Hot or Hella Not?
If you haven't figured it yet each week new singles in Japan are released. Since
we're always on top of our game and we always want to deliver the hot news and
let you know which song is hot and which is not we now have a featured song
review section. Every week we will pick a song by an artist before it's released
and we will review it for you.

This Week: Janna Da Arc - Shining Ray
 So
our rock across Japan continues and this week we have Janne Da Arc on the
program! *Konichiwa!* Next week we got Garnet Crow but we'll break into some pop
with Maki Goto and her crew 2 weeks from now. But before we start with Janne Da
Arc we had one note to DAI from last week... Tomiko Van you are freaking
gorgeous with those dark blue finger nails! We love ya! ^_^ Now it's
down to business. We can't really remember when the last time Janne Da Arc
dropped a single on us but it was pretty good. They're only real rock group from
AVEX and they get the pleasure to compete against the likes of Glay. Hahaha...
well we do gotta admit that they release nice songs :)
Shining
Ray is not anything new from their previous singles. Kinda like "Feel the
Wind". It's basically guitar music with a high beat and a repeat of the
title in their chorus. In this case it would be "Shining Ray, Shining
Ray". We usually like the beats of their music more then their singing but
this time it sounds like a whole recycled song! Seriously take "Feel the
Wind" and replace it with "Shining Ray"! At least with other rock
bands like Glay we have creativity and new tunes every time but I think this
song is far from being creative for Janne Da Arc. Hella
Hot or Hella NOT!?!?! Ok so the bold might have killed our essence of
surprise but nonetheless we are quite disappointed in them. We're a big fan of
Janne Da Arc so don't get us wrong but we do expect things from our artist and
we wanted better! Oh well. What could you do? Anywayz if you're a fan of Janne
Da Arc you might like the single but take it from us, it isn't anything to go
bonkers about. Next week we got Garnet Crow!!! One
of out all-time favorite rock groups!!! Can't wait! ^_^ Track List
