Past Archives
9/26: Ayumi Hamasaki - Voyage
Next Week: BoA - Kiseki Vs Aya Matsuura - The
Bigaku
This Week: Namie Amuro - Wishing on the same star
Here
we go Namie's Amuro come back to stardome begins now! This new song
"Wishing on the same Star" sure has all the backing of a great track
by having it written by Diane Warren with the strings being arranged by renowned
soundtrack director Tatsuya Murayama. Furthermore this song serves as the theme
song to the hit movie "Inochi"! So with the tables being set for Namie
again and her being single it's up to her to deliver. The
song starts out beautifully thanks in large part to Murayama-san who puts all
the instruments together. In fact the instrumental track is a kick ass single itself
just because of the great background music! Namie's voice is as good as ever
while she sings her heart out in this ballad. Her English seems to be getting
better. She probably has been spending a lil more time in New York I assume ^_^
The piano in the background gives this single life but I think that it's Namie
who makes this single great. Every single beat is sang to perfection. No
question this week we're tossing out a 10! It's our first one and this
single is JUST that good! I think Namie has all the talent in the world but it's
a matter of acceptance by the fans now. Her music is as good as it was 5 years
ago if not better! Do get this single! It rocks! Rating:
