11/20: Misia - Back Block
Next Week: Chemistry - It Takes Two
This Week: Hajime Chitose - Kono Machi
The
highly anticipated 3rd single from Japanese singing sensation Hajime Chitose is
finally here! If you remember we wrote an article about her about her upcoming
3rd single which will prove to everyone if she's the real thing or not but from
what we've heard we certainly think she is! "Kono Machi" is the theme
song to the J-Drama "Manten".
The song begins with a very beautiful piano intro
and then Hajime starts to begin singing softly. We're not gonna lie and say
she's an amazing singer because we're not exactly fond of it but we really
believe that the songs background music and her voice mixes in together very
well. It's so soft and her voice is so interesting that it matches! It adds a
lil bit of a mysterious effect. The chorus is real powerful and Hajime is really
singing her heart out with this song!
It was rumored that this single was a song she
has long composed and was really waiting to release. From the way it was sang it
surely sounds like she put a lot of effort in it. Her singing style is truly
interesting and this one sounds beautiful. We're really putting our
recommendation on this single. Please do check it out!
