If you haven't figured it yet each week new singles in Japan are released. Since we're always on top of our game and we always want to deliver the hot news and let you know which song is hot and which is not we now have a featured song review section. Every week we will pick a song by an artist before it's released and we will review it for you.

This Week: Rip Slyme - Blue Bebop

By far Rip Slyme is one of the more respected rap groups in Japan and they certainly have our respects. They are put right up their in talen with the likes of Dragon Ash. Their ability to combine rhythmic beats along with thuggish rap is truly amazing and the resultant of that is some pretty kick ass music!

Blue Be-Bop gotta love that name... COWBOY BEBOP... is an interesting song. It starts off kind of jazzy and no one can tell it's a rap song from the start. On like my 3rd listen to it, it starts to become quite catchy. The chorus is very nice and sang wonderfully. The rap is well... Rip Slyme styled. The song is mid-tempo but I think the rap is a bit slower than the tempo of the song. They probably should have hastened that a bit. But above that the chorus is very catchy!

Originally it was getting a 7 but it's one of those songs that grows on you. I don't think that it'll be as good as their last single "Rauken Baby" but hey this is some quality stuff! For all yuo Rip Slyme fans... buy it! If you're not a fan then at least try it out ^_^
