Hella Hot or Hella Not?
If you haven't figured it yet each week new singles in Japan are released. Since we're always on top of our game and we always want to deliver the hot news and let you know which song is hot and which is not we now have a featured song review section. Every week we will pick a song by an artist before it's released and we will review it for you.

2/5: Miki Fujimoto - Bugito Rain'03
1/29: Utada Hikaru - Colors Vs Mika Nakashima - Aishiteru
1/22: Day After Tomorrow - Futurity

futurity / day after tomorrowHey it's a first time group here! We first heard about them from J-Pop 7 who did a review on their beginning and here they are as our featured single of the week. While being produced by corporate giant AVEX we would assume that this is probably another Every Little Thing in the making but to a lesser extent in talent. After a lil more publicity and watching them on Hey x3 we're starting to think that this might be another EE Jump... uh oh... that can't be good -_-

Their songs have been catchy and this one starts off the same. While we can't say that the lead singer is exceptionally talented she can surely sing with the beat. The song picks up when it enters the chorus with some off notes by the lead. Even with that being said the beat is quite nice and it's nice and catchy. The guitar music in the back isn't bad at all. Hopefully this group is really playing them, LOL! The 2nd verse is much the same but this time a stronger chorus. Something that we don't often see is a singer or group sing harder and with more soul as the song progresses but that isn't the case with this song.

Yea I know all the junk that goes on in AVEX but I'm not going to deny that this group works hard. At least from the way they sing it seems so. They're not the best group in the business and their songs are based on it's catchiness but possibly in the future they can be another Do As Infinity. In any case this song is quite nice and I recommend you do check it out!
