After
a very successful sell of her 3rd album "Fairy Tale" Mai K is back
with a hot new track! This song is the theme song to the hot new anime movie
"Conan the Detective"
The song starts off with some very brilliant
guitar music. The song is soft and I feel that Mai's voice is well sang with
the melody of the music. The tempo is very good and it has a bit of a rock-ish
tune to it. Like Hikki she too is falling a bit away from all R&B songs
and showing her versatility. The chorus is powerful as always in her music and
it's evident that Mai is starting to touch every octave.
Hella Hot or Hella not?!?! Well perfectly sang
and quite addictive and also with the fact that this is Mai K here I'd have to
say HELLA HOT! Get your copy while it last because this is surely one of her
better pieces! :)

Not
over yet this week! We have another special guest in the house and that is
Namie Amuro! First I just have to comment on the cover... Great work Namie!
^_^ It's been 6 months since she last released and during that time she has
suddenly become single again. Furthermore it seems as if her vocals have
become a lot better as well as her Engrish... I mean English :P
The song is very Hip-Hop-ish and if you've seen
the PV Namie-chan learns to do some dirty dancing. The song starts off sort of
like a Christina Aguilera song with Namie demonstrating her vocals early.
After a short verse you will be indulged into the chorus. "Baby Remember
Shine". It's also noted that her English has gotten a lot better since
"Say the Word" which sounded more like "Save the World".
But enough with her English this song is very danceable and well put together.
Namie finally shows off her vocals which has been lacking for some time.
Let's see final verdict... it's one of those
songs that after you listen to once you'll be addicted to it. I can't quite
put my finger on what is so good about it but it IS GREAT! Maybe it's that PV
^_^
